Hmm...

Gave an awesome talk today. I hate the time that leads up to the actual "talk-giving" but actually enjoy the part where I talk. So what does this mean?

    Yay for an awesome talk! Just means you're a science geek? :-) Once I get talking, I enjoy it. Sometimes the first couple of slides are rough when I am paying too much attention to the audience response.

    Nope, I am the same way. That is why I loved it when seminar was at 11:00 rather than 4:00. I hated pacing, practicing and going over and over things in my brain until my talk. I would rather get in there and get it started. And yes, I love giving talks--so you are not alone!!
